Cardio Perks

Kickboxing is a full-body, cardiovascular-based workout that works your Heart and Lungs first and foremost. Studies have shown that working the Heart and Lungs in a constant manner pushing your lactate threshold, not only keep the Arteries from stiffening, but help to make our Hearts work more efficiently. Kickboxing sessions and classes have participants moving throughout the entire workout, keeping heart rate higher.

Aerobic Impact

Since there’s no added weights to a kickboxing session, the impact on muscle groups is lessened compared to a high-impact workout like using free weights. Increased heart rate, oxygen intake, and cardiovascular conditioning make kickboxing a huge aerobic plus.

Self Esteem

Did you know that Martial Arts is 20 times better than other team sports in developing a child’s self-esteem and confidence? We provide non-violent resolutions to conflict. Yet, we strongly believe that children and adults for that matter must develop the skills and ability to defend themselves and understand right from wrong. Students will develop greater confidence and self-discipline as they learn how to act and react to the World around them.
